Founded over 55 years ago by Charles O. Falter, a dedicated and honest tradesman with a passion for building, C.O. Falter Construction Corporation was built from the ground up — literally. What began as a small, family-run operation in Syracuse, New York has grown into a trusted leader in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities across the Northeast.

Still family-owned and operated today, we remain grounded in the same principles Charles instilled from day one: hard work, fairness, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Those values continue to shape every project we take on and every team member we hire.

Over the decades, we’ve successfully completed projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, earning a reputation for reliability, precision, and safety.

Our Mission

To build essential infrastructure that serves communities — with integrity, technical excellence, and a commitment to the people who make it possible.

Our Values

  • Family First
As a family-run company, we believe in supporting our team like family — with respect, open communication, and genuine care.

  • Fairness & Integrity
We do right by our clients, our crews, and our communities. Fair wages, honest work, and lasting relationships.

  • Excellence in Execution
We bring decades of specialized experience to every job, delivering high-quality work on time and on budget.

  • Safety & Wellbeing
We prioritize a safe, respectful, and healthy work environment — and offer strong benefits to support our people both on and off the job.

  • Community Impact
The projects we build help communities function and grow. That’s a responsibility we take seriously.

Our Culture

At C.O. Falter Construction, we know that great infrastructure starts with a great team. That’s why we foster a culture built on respect, accountability, and belonging — where every crew member, foreman, and office staff feels valued.

As a family-run company, we take pride in treating our people like family. We invest in their success through fair wages, strong benefits, and a safe, supportive work environment. And we believe that shared success is worth celebrating — from jobsite milestones to company cookouts and team gatherings, we take time to recognize the hard work and dedication behind every project.

Our culture is hands-on, down-to-earth, and people-first — just like the company Charles Falter envisioned from the start.
